photo stream is downloading photos from years ago all of a sudden

i have recently plugged in my iPhone to my macbook to download some videos i took. My iPhone, iPad, mac, and husbands iPhone were all synced, so when i downloaded my photos to my computer, my husband would then get the photos on his phone, which we would have to spend time deleting 100+ pictures on his phone….

so we unsynced everything… well now, my macbook's photo stream is still downloading photos from where I have no idea. but these photos are from literally 2007. i think these photos were on my old old computer which was a PC anyway so that doesn't make sense. but i can't stop it from downloading these pics!!! any ideas? this is so annoying and I'm glad i finally figured out how to unsync my phone but now my computer is going nuts…..
