App asks me to Join Apple Music when I already have

Upon clicking anything that streams through Apple Music, the flow of the app is the following...

1) Hangs for 10-60 seconds

2) Brings me to the Join Apple Music screen (which I have already done)

3) I click Join

4) I click Back

5) I click Cancel

6) Hangs for 20-Infinity seconds

7) Plays the song (barring the number of seconds in step 6 does not equal infinity)

Who else has this problem? Is there any way to solve it?

I've managed to fix this incredibly annoying bug after piecing a few bits of information together.

You need to sign out of your Apple ID in Settings > iTunes & App Store. If you can't access that (because it hangs, a common problem), then you'll need to turn the device off and on again.

Sign back into your Apple ID and then go to Settings > Music to make sure Show Apple Music is on (green) and so is iCloud Music Library (if you're also using it).

Then open the Music app. It may take a while to resync and you'll need to download anything from Apple Music again, but it'll fix the problem.

Hi

I am really starting to hate this annoying "Join the Apple Music" screen (see it below in Czech). Apple music behaves normally until this **** screen appears. I signed up a while ago for the family package which starts on Oct 1st. After that 'join' screen you freeze in time and space because if you click on the "Later" option the music stops playing completely and you get stuck. If you click on the red "Sign up" button a white screen with two subscription modes appears and when you click on any of them you go nowhere. Just freeze. And the only option is to restart your phone completely. But I have to restart it practically every hour! OMG, this is so annoying that I am reconsidering return to Spotify until this bug is fixed. I simply cannot use the app and this is far far away from convenience. I know Apple needs to convert as many subscribers as possible but in fact this annoyance might lead to their outflow...

THANK YOU!!! After numerous reboots and attempts to sign out and in again this was the only resolution that worked. All other previous attempts only masked the problem for about an hour and it would start up again.

I had a feeling it was tied to iTunes/App Store as I couldn't hope but notice that while Apple Music was freaking out I was also having issues downloading/updating apps.

Once I logged out and back in again everything's been great.

Again, much appreciation!!
