iCloud, iTunes, Apple ID, Family Sharing set-up, What Apple does not explain very well

Okay this may help some long term apple nerds move forward.

So most people that have a family and have been in the Apple eco system for a while likely had one iTunes Apple ID that was used for all purchase of content. Everyone in the family used the same iTunes log in to by content on Dad's dime. Thats me!

Then along came MobileMe iCloud and we all got personal Apple ID to log into our personal contacts, calendar, email, etc. But we need to use the same common iTunes Apple ID to purchase content on Dad's dime. So know all user input there personal iCloud Apple ID into iCloud and the common iTunes Apple ID into the iTunes store Apple ID. This method even allows sharing of the common family iTunes music library and use of iTunes match on all devices.

They along comes Family Sharing, Now things start getting sideways. Family sharing allows all members in the group to share all purchase content on Dad's dime by just entering in their iCloud Apple ID in both the iCloud and iTunes credentials. But this will no longer allow iTunes match to share all content from the common family iTunes Match shared music library. So as a work around, back to all users inputing their personal Apple ID for iCloud and the old family iTunes apple ID into iTunes & App Store… to keep sharing purchases and sharing iTunes match on all devices.

Know Apple Music arrives and we need to fully embrace family sharing to get everyone their own Apple Music account under the family sharing option. Now each kid will need to use only there iCloud Apple ID in both iCloud and iTunes. They no longer put in the old family iTunes Apple ID in iTunes and App Store. But Dad continues to put in both Apple IDs as in the past. But he must now fully embrace the family sharing by including the old iTunes Apple ID in his organizer account as the ID to be shared by all members and used for all purchase. Everyone now gets all the purchased content, music, games, etc. that has been purchase over the years and gets there own Apple Music account with just there new playlists, but the no common iTunes Match. Only the organizer now gets iTunes Match.

Hope this helps people get there head around this headache.
