My 27 inch iMac was one of those identified for hard drive replacement. Once this is complete how to I restore my files and programs onto the new hard drive.

I received an email concerning my 27 inch iMac stating the 3T hard drives in the system may fail. After this work is complete how do I restore the files and programs onto the new hard drive? I have backed everything up with my Time Capsule.

Apple will do this for you, nothing to worry about. However if for some very odd reason that does not occur, you can always connect the computer to your Time Capsule and restore by booting into the Recovery Partition (Command + C on startup) and select restore from Time Machine.
