When listening to music, and on repeat one song it won't let me skip tracks through the usual method. Have recently updated to iOS 8.4

SO I'm listening to my music, as usual, and I have my songs on repeat (just a specific song, and I go to switch track using the next and previous buttons but it's not working, it just skips to the start of the song. I didn't have this problem on previous iOS. It's just happened when upgrading to iOS 8.4
