Q: Macbook doesn't "see" all of my wife's iPhone's photos
For the past 2 years, I have used iPhoto to import photos from both my and my wife's iPhone 5s' to my Macbook Pro using a USB connection. However, while I have no problem importing photos from my iPhone, recently my Macbook fails to recognize most of my wife's photos. For example, she currently has 528 photos/videos on her iPhone 5s, but when I connect it to my Macbook with a USB cable and iPhoto opens, it only sees my wife's iPhone as having 3 photos on it that I can import! Thinking it might be a problem with iPhoto, I've tried importing her photos another way - by connecting her iPhone via USB cable and using Preview's option to import photos. However, it too also only gave me the option to import 3 photos! Now, the only peculiar thing that I've noticed is that ever since importing all my photos from my iPhone 5s most recently, that only photos taken on my wife's iPhone 5s AFTER I sync'd and imported my photos on my iPhone are the ones my Macbook seems to recognize as available for importing when connecting her phone. I never had any issue for 2 years, and now suddenly I can't seem to transfer 500+ photos from my wife's phone, and her phone's memory is tapped out to the max, so I really need to find a way to get them off of her phone without losing the photos. Any help would be supremely appreciated. Thanks in advance.
iPhone 5s, iOS 8.3, null
