How did podcast's from my iPad get on my new macbook?

New macbook. Haven't set it up as my sync computer yet. Still haven't switched over from my windows computer. Which is currently 1800 miles away. Don't mind as long as it's not using bandwidth from my ISP. Even would encourage it if I knew how. Only 5gb moved over of maybe 25gb. On the other hand if it's using bandwidth I would want to stop it imediatly.
