I created one song and wanted to export it to iTunes, but now it is stuck in 'converting' and I cannot close the GarageBand app nor I can shut down the computer because it says GarageBand is blocking it. Thank you!

Your only chance to terminate GarageBAnd is to use force quit from the -menu, see: Force an app to close on your Mac - Apple Support
But this will kill the GarageBand processes without saving your project.

I have the same problem and have already Force Quit GarageBand 3 times and still can't get my song over to iTunes. Any helpful hints? Thanks you.
Share your song to the disk and import from there. Start a new discussion for your question, so we can keep the different system versions and GarageBand versions separate. There seems to be a problem with the newest GarageBand after the latest iTunes update. Without knowing your system details it is hard to suggest something.
