copy numbers spreadsheet and keep formulas

I am trying to replicate a financial record from 2014-15 into the new financial year. I want to keep some pages like memberships to carry over, but in others like income and expenditure I need to delete from this year and enter new in 2015-16. My problem is when I delete I also lose the formula. This is the same as in past years ie monthly and annual reports. So deleting information and keeping the formula on a blank sheet!

Hi grant,

The simple answer is to just delete the data. I have an income spreadsheet where nearly all the data is entered into one table, in rows A-G. There are various formulas in H-M. At the beginning of the year I copy the table, delete most of the rows and delete the data from columns A-G. A new year then begins. If I was sure I wasn't going to improve the spreadsheet I would save it as a template be fore I entered any data.
