I put in iCloud password to decline purchase, but password box just pops up again?

When I get an approval request from my daughter on family sharing, I hit decline and put in my iCloud password. However, the same box just pops up immediately and I try again - with the same result. So I can neither approve or decline, and just have to X it!!!
