Nothing in my folders in Mail

THere is nothing in the folders in Mail. I have saved many things in them there are over ten folders and there's nothing in a you!

2.93GHz Intel Core i7, Mac OS X (10.6.7), Memory 8GB also Mac OS X now (10.7)
