Final Cut Pro 6 has a black screen on the canvas and won't display any videos when clicked on. The screen has a grey cross through it with a number in the middle. Could anyone help? The image below displays how my timeline currently looks. Also, this is happening on more than one project, the audio plays but you cannot see anything.

In FCP, above the canvas are three buttons. Click on the right one and from the drop down menu make sure the canvas is set to display either Image or Image + Wireframe, but not just Wireframe:
