iPad does not connect to iTunes library on Mac

Since updating to latest iTunes I can no longer access my Mac iTunes library on my iPad. I haven't changed any settings, and they are still synched. On the old iPad iTunes I accessed the library via the shared tab, there does not appear to be one on the new iTunes for iPad app.
