Since updates play count and last played not syncing to itunes

Hi,

Since updating to the latest iTunes, iPhone software and subscribing to the new service, my music plays on iPhone are not being updated/added to track play count and last played columns on iTunes. This is music from my collection not from iTunes streaming.

Does anyone know of a fix to this or is there currently an issue?
