disabled ipad not getting switched off

i have an ipad air 2. As we know to restore a disabled ipad we have to power off first and then have to press the home button to get the apple logo. now the problem with my ipad is that it is not getting switched off only it is stuck on the screen where it say"ipad is disabled connect to itunes."

now when i am trying to connect to itunes it is asking to respond on the ipad which is not possible. so if anyone has any ideas do let me know.
