I was making a slide show and tried to cut a photo that did not belong. Instead I cut a group of photos I had highlighted and now I can't find those; not can I paste them anywhere. If I try to add the photos back from my phone it says they are already there, but I can't find them.

There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 10 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS. So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Include things like:
- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. As full a description of the problem as you can. For example, if you have a problem with exporting, then explain by describing how you are trying to export, and so on.
- History: Is this going on long? Has anything been installed or deleted? - Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
- Anything unusual about your set up? Or how you use iPhoto?
Anything else you can think of that might help someone understand the problem you have.
I tried to cut a photo from an event
If you cut the photos from the Event using the Control (right) - click Cut command the photos will have been moved to the iPhoto Trash bin in the sidebar.
If you haven't emptied the iPhoto Trash bin they will still be there. Select all of them, Control (right) - click and select Put Back from the contextual menu.
Go to/ window / show hidden photos / and they will be put back
I tried to cut a photo from an event and instead several and now I can't find them or can't paste them.
