Since the last update iOS 8.4 and the new music app I cannot use ANY AUX cables (or even a lighting cable) to listen to music or radio content on my iPHONE6/. is there a fix for this?
it is highly annoying and i cannot use the phone for one of the applications I like the most.

Do headphones work? What you're saying doesn't make sense. How, exactly are you attempting to connect your phone to the speakers/head unit you're using?
I insert an AUX cable (of any sort, AUX to USB, AUX to AUX or headphones) and the music stops working.... if I take the cable out and I use the phone's own speaker then I can hear it. I know it makes no sense but I am not making it up
