How do I free up space on hard drive?
I need to free up space on my hard drive. I go not have movies or music, but I do have 8000 + pictures.
MacBook Air, Mac OS X (10.7.5)
Transfer the data to an external HDD. Also do not for get to empty Trash. Only then is space allocated for new data.
I suggest that you download OmnoDiskSweeper and Grand Perspective (both free) and open them. They will show all of your files and the respective sizes allowing you to identify candidates to be transferred to an external HDD or to be deleted.
