In tables, the cells are hiding some of the text

I'm working on an iBook using the newly-released ePub template.

I've created a few tables in this document.

The tables have only text inside each cell. In iBooks Author, the tables are properly formatted and show the entirety of the content within.

However, when I preview the book on an iPad, the text in each cell is cut off, and only some of it is shown. Different devices will cut off the text at different places.

How can I solve this?
