Question on restore old versions apps from a backup

Hi,

I wanted to know if, when we restore from a backup on itunes (for example an iPad) does the old version apps (that already aren't for download on the appstore) will appear on my restored iPad, and, will it have all the data in app (like pdf's) as when i did the backup?

Thanks in advance

iPad, iOS 8.4

Yes. If the app has been withdrawn from the store, and you don't have a copy in your library, or that you can transfer back into it from one of your devices, then the data cannot be restored. Apps themselves are not contained in the backup.

See Backup your iTunes for Windows library with SyncToy for the future. Anything you buy from any online store may be removed without notice at any time. Repeat downloads are a convenience but should not be relied upon.
