where can I find the function time of my iMac?

What exactly do you mean by "function time?" Do you mean, how long will keep working?
I want to know how many hours the iMac was in function to calculate the power consumption and the price for this.

Apple does not publish that information, however I would recommend researching system specifications for the iMac you are looking for. Perhaps you will find some clues.

One moment I thought you speek german, because of your name, then I saw the adress...
I found a possibility - with SMART utility you can find out how many hours the harddisc was on power.
In my case 9032 hours during 7 and a half years.

Glad you were able to find your answer. Yes, my surname is German however I am a 4th generation Californian and have never visited Germany or learned to speak German.
