I have a 27in. iMac with 2 hard drives and my flash drive is full and want to make room and transfer files and stuff to my other drive.

My problem- storage problems

model- iMac 27in. mid2011 model identifier-imac 12.2

processor 3.4 GHz intelcore i7

memory 8GB

operating system OSX YOSEMITE 10.10.3

situation- available capacity

Macintosh HD 1.95GB 250.14GB

Macintosh HD2 999.16GB 999.86

How do I move stuff from HD to my HD2 ? Also, what happens when i do move stuff? Can i still use everything?

Only move items that have large libraries such as photos, movies, & music This is easily done by locating the library file(s) which are normally under your user profile and dragging them to the new HD. If you have difficulty locating a library, iTunes for example, then open iTunes - Preferences and it will indicate in the Preferences where the library is currently located.
