White line appeared on the bottom of the screen

Hi,

Please help me with the display issue on my phone. There is a white line on the bottom screen of my iphone 5s that appeared last night and its increasing further.

The phone did not fall down or got damaged. The phone is not in warranty and the replacement costs me half the phones price. Its not my fault its a cheap hardware used in my phone. This should go in exception case as its not damaged by me and also confirmed by apple technicians. HELP

if the phones out of warranty your going to have to get the lcd assembly replaced apple charges extreme prices..have you had any problems with the battery draining fast?

No i dont have a problem with the battery draining. Also i visited the authorized apple service center in my area and they said they can only replace the phone and cannot do a LCD repair. It costs me rupees 21K. I dont want a new phone. I just want my LCD replaced. HELP please with an option. In 21K i can buy 2 good phones here.

that is expensive.. is there no other repair shop that fixes phone screens in your area since your already out of warranty, there is 4 in a 40 mile radius of me they charge 60gbp about 6k rupees?

i havent checked with the local repair shop. i will check with them but iphone 5s as a premium phone is pathetic in hardware than other phone. Its just 1 year 4 months used. If the phone was damaged i can understand the problem but the hardware to malfunction automatically is not acceptable its cheap hardware used.

I agree , for the cost your not getting what your paying for .. i encountered a swelling battery causing damage from behind the screen on a 5s which is another hardware fail that shouldnt happen at least not for many years
