Jul 6, 2015 12:33 PM in response to Loner Tby Floatinify,Why is it possible for me to remap the fn key on OSX then? I don't understand what the difference is between the two operating systems. Karbiner works fine on OSX, so why cant the fn key be detected on Windows 8?

Jul 6, 2015 1:43 PM in response to Loner Tby Floatinify,I mapped the control key over to the fn key. This way, control is in the bottom-left corner of the keyboard, which is what I'm used to.

Maybe I'm not understanding what your saying. Are you telling me that theres a program in windows 8 that can remap keys?

I also poked around in drivers. The Keyboard driver on the OS X side has the Modifier Key mapping panel, but there is no such facility on the Windows side. You may have to live with it or use the on-screen keyboard.
