iTunes keeps asking for password (Mac)

I had the issue lately that iTunes kept asking me for the password all the time I switched on computer and started iTunes.

I checked the Safari settings and indeed I had in the privacy the cookies to always allow and would still ask for password all the time.


I checked further and looked under the password tab setting in Safari, Searched for Apple in the search box and found that there were some entries with my Apple user ID but password was empty or the other way round, where a password was in but the entry for user name was null.


I removed the null entries and done... my problem went away.


Thought about sharing this with everyone as I did not find any valid or good answer.
