Q: there is no option for scanning from hp laserjet m1005 printer while in printer both options are available printing as well as scanning

Thanks for the question. If I understand correctly, you are not able to scan from the computer using the HP device. Are you able to print to the HP device? I would recommend that you read these articles, they may be helpful in troubleshooting your issue.
