Jul 6, 2015 10:15 AM in response to JPGalvinby léonie,★HelpfulHave you checked, if both your machines are having the same version of Yosemite? Perhaps your MAcBook has already been updated to MacOS X 10.10.4 while your MacBook Air is still on MacOS X 10.10.3? Run software update on both machines.

Jul 6, 2015 1:01 PM in response to LarryHNby JPGalvin,Thanks, LarryHN.
EHD is formatted correctly. It turns out that my Air did not have the latest update to Yosemite. Updating it fixed the problem.
In your opinion, is it safe to delete my iPhotos library now from my MacBook? I have a duplicate on my EHD, and I have the Photos on my EHD.
Thanks!
John.

Jul 6, 2015 1:12 PM in response to JPGalvinby léonie,John. before you delete the original, test the copy on your MaccBook Air. Try to edit a few photos to check if the originals in the library can be accessed, compare the numbers of photos and the size of the copied package.
