Q: "Looks like you're listening on another device"?

It seems that many are getting this message when attempting to play music on more than one device at the same time using an individual plan.  My brother in law is having problems with it so we discussed joining a family plan together.  However, I have played streaming, downloaded & matched songs all at the same time on 2 iPhones, 2 iPads & 1 MacBook and can't get this message to appear.  All devices use the same Apple ID and we have used iTunes Match & individual playlists to keep things organized for my wife, daughter & myself in the past.  I would really like to keep everything like it is now but with Apple Music.  Is this simply a glitch?
