I have Final Cut Pro on my computer, and I want to update it. However, my computer doesn't support the newest version of the app. Where/how can I get the next version in line from what I have (which will work on my system)? [Not the newest version]

Don't know about FCP (or what that is) but I have my computer version listed in the question. It's Mac OS X 10.6.8.
FCP is Final Cut Pro. Isn't that what you're asking about? What computer specs? System requirements vary from version to version.
Without knowing what version of FCP X (Final Cut Pro X) you have on your system, it's hard to give you very precise feedback. Generally speaking, unless you can update your OS from OS X 10.6 to at least 10.8, I'm afraid you will not be able to update to any version of FCP thant is later than what you have.
