I Cannot start my Mac since updating the os. I get a message that reads is version not yet set

- Reset SMC and PRAM/NVRAM

About NVRAM and PRAM

- Try a Safe boot

OS X: What is Safe Boot, Safe Mode?

- Then try booting to Recovery and repairing the startup disk

- Last, reinstall the the OS
