I am receiving the error message "Code redemption is temporarily unavailable" when attempting to redeem my OS X Lion download from the app store. Is the app store currently down or is this error being caused by something else?

http://www.apple.com/support/systemstatus/ shows everything up and running so must be another issue.
You could try the stores support staff if it continues at http://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html
I am having the exact same issue trying to download OSX Lion to upgrade my Macbook 4,1 running Snow Leopard 10.6.8
It's very frustrating to have paid for the software, waited 24 hours (for no apparent reason) for an email with the download code, and then find that the software can't be downloaded for an unspecified reason, for an unspecified amount of time.
Would appreciate any help anyone can offer! I am really tearing my hair out!
This is actually my second issue with an OS X Lion Code Redemption. Strange.
Is the Mac App store currently down?
