After update to iOS 8.4 OS keeps asking for iCloud password

The dialog box for iCloud sign in keeps coming up. I can supply the current password or cancel. Doesn't matter. In a few seconds the dialog box is back.

Thanks, lllaass, the restore stopped the relentless iCloud dialog loop. It wasn't easy to get to the restore, though. I had to turn off Find My iPod against a hail of iCloud interference every two seconds. I had earlier tried to change my Apple password, but that did not help. It just caused me a lot of trouble due to Apple's request for multiple authentication.

I'm wondering whether an iPod hard Reset would have worked as well.
