Why is there an album on my iTunes called U2 that I never purchased?

There's an album on my iTunes that I never purchased and I found out that everyone has this on their phones their computers iPad etc. What's with that? I don't like it and want it off but what makes me angry is that this is something apple has put on without my authorization? That's my only guess. Does anyone else have this on their iTunes library?
