Photos says my iCloud storage is full but it's not?

Photos says my iCloud storage is full, and therefore new photos won't upload. Everywhere else I look it says I have 2.35G of iCloud storage available.

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)

I know this is an old thread but it was the first hit for me when I searched for help. What worked for me was:

  1. Sign out of iCloud from the phone [Settings > iCloud > sign out]
  2. Turn the phone off.
  3. Turn the phone on
  4. Sign into iCloud
  5. Go to photos and sign into iCloud when asked. (I didn't note the exact messages here.)

All photos synced within a few minutes.

🙂

Yes. Since you've decided to delete your other posts because you didn't like what I had to say.. your previous post asking if I had a helpful suggestion or not was not helpful, nor did I anticipate help from one specific individual, certainly not one who likes to post simply to raise their points.

My helpful suggestion - switch to Android. Problem solved. It's worked GREAT for me for years without issue.
