Adding live tunes to My Music via iTunes 12.2

Apologies if this already been asked.

I am trying to add tunes that are playing on Beats 1 to My Music on my Mac desktop using iTunes 12.2. When a song is playing on Beats 1 radio, I select "Add to My Music" and nothing happens. When I do this on my iPad or iPhone, the song gets added immediately and becomes available across all my devices including my desktop. Any idea why this would not be working on my desktop?
