I started creating a new partition for windows 8.1 then the process crashed. Now when I start bootcamp it will not allow my to partition because it says I already have. How do I fix this?

Try using Boot Camp Assistant to remove the bad partition, and then create a new one. If that does not then you have a problem with which I cannot help. You will need the help of another user whose handle is LonerT. I will try to direct him to your topic.

Ha! I just searched you out and left a request in another of your topics. Just ignore it.
1. Were you using BCA to create the new partition or Disk Utility?
2. What Year/model is your Mac?
3. If the partition was created with BCA, you should be abel to click on Install Windows and continue.
