iTunes 12.2 iCloud movies and tv shows not showing up

I got a new MacPro running OS X 10.10.4 less than a week ago. The preloaded system still had iTunes 12.1 and my movies and tv shows were visible and able to stream. I updated iTunes to the latest 12.2. Now when i go to the Movies tab or the TV Shows tab nothing is there. I usually stream my movies and shows from the cloud to save storage space but now theres nothing there. I can see all my purchased media under the Purchases but there is only an option to download and not stream. I lookedthrough all the preferences and menus and can't see anything that would block or unblock my video media from showing up. All of my music is visible, just no video. Any help would be great!

Hi, Thufir Hawat.

Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.

I understand that your purchased movies and TV shows are not showing as an available option to stream on your Mac. Can you double check that Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases is enabled or disabled under iTunes > Preferences > Store via the menu bar? The article below is just for reference to this specific menu under Store.

Worked for me too - even on OS X El Capitan Beta.

As an aside, it's extremely frustrating Apple hasn't issued a fix for this in the first place or communicated it as reported problem. If the intent was to set the 'Only show offline' as a default, that seems like a bad design and disingenuous to users. It's like they're trying to get people to download content on their Macs instead of streaming it (by making the 'only offline' the default option that you have to manually change, which most users won't know how to do).

I was really happy to find this thread today. I am experiencing a similar circumstance. Although my problem is My Movies and TV shows are all showing up but my Music is not. It was all there a week and half ago. I have tried all the suggestions listed here several times. I like one of the users am Beta testing El Capitain but I don't think that's the issue. I have a very large library for sure and attribute of that to the problem. The curious thing is the cloud symbol that shows if you are connected server works for a bit then goes to the lightening bolt. Usually I have to restart iTunes to get it to move again. So it sounds like possibly (Correct me if I am wrong) I can stay connected long enough for it to retrieve the data. I have written iTunes support but no reply in a week. Anyone have any ideas? I have reported through the Feedback Assistant as well. New Beta out today no difference that's why I think it's something else. Apple services shows everything up and running. Thanks for any help.
