Downloading photos to Aperture

Here is what I am working with:

• iPhone 5S
• iOS 8.4
• Mac OS 10.10 Yosemite
• Aperture 3.6
• iCloud Photo Library enabled on phone with Optimize iPhone Storage

SO here is the problem. I want to import the image from the phone to Aperture, but because of the "Optimize iPhone Storage" setting the actual images are not on the phone. What is the best way for me to get the images in my Aperture library?
