Unable to view all iMessage attachments in iOS 8.4

When clicking on "Details" in a message thread, only attachments from the current messages in view appear... Is there a way to view ALL sent/received message attachments?

Also, ever since upgrading to iOS 8.4 my iPhone, especially when loading messages, has been VERY slow... anyone else experiencing this? I've already power cycled.
