It is probably a network within range of your computer.
Can I get rid of it?
Are you seeing this under the Shared or Devices heading in your sidebar?
it's on the side bar
Yes, I know it is on the Sidebar, but there are headings in Gray type on the sidebar such as "Favorites", "Tags", "Devices" and "Shared". Which one is trvlplapc showing under?
It shows under "Shared"
Click on your Finder window and then at the menu at the top click on Finder then Preferences. Click on the Sidebar icon and in the list below, under Shared, untick the box next to Connected networks.
On my IMac it's "connected servers" I have unticked the box but trvlpalpc is still in the shared folder
Restart your computer.
Thank you very much, all is good
