How do I get rid of all the extra artist information in iTunes 12?

When viewing my music by artist there is now a bunch of annoying extra information by some of them - biography, influences, etc... Bob Marley, U2, and Dave Matthews to name a few. For those artists it narrows the album view from two columns to one, and cuts off the name of the album. Seriously annoying! Is there any way to get rid of all that extra information?

I think that I am finding out the same thing. Almost all of my music is ripped from my cd collection, but I have downloaded a few songs here and there from the iTunes Store. Those seem to be the artists that are displaying the extra information. Seems like Apple has forced this on us without an option of turning it off.
