I downloaded the new ITunes upgrade last night and since then I keep getting an error that I can't sync my IPod. I've tried deleting ITunes from my computer (Windows) and reinstalling it and nothing works. Any suggestions?

My iphone is down too.. Tried to update and an error occurred, now it doensn't turn on and doesn't update or restore.
Windows 7.
I can't get itunes to let me add any music to my ipod. When I drag it from itunes to the ipod area, it doesn't turn blue and add it. And the 8.4 update to my ipod wiped out all of my playlists.
