Can i order a new iPhone and put my sim card in it?

I am going to order an iPhone 5s Verizion. My phone right now has version as well. So i am wondering when i get my new iPhone if i can put my present sin card in it? Thank You.

No. You have a nanoSIM from the 5c, same the 5s uses. The microSIM was last used in the 4S. But as we have stated before, only reason to keep it would be for the old number, which you can have transferred to the new SIM.


Since SIMs have code in them, they also have different versions. When the phone arrives, take its new SIM out and compare with the old. Keep the one with the newest (highest) version. Have the number transferred if needed.
