When initially opening apps from the apps store icon I get a blank page on both "Featured" and "Top Charts" why is this happening?

This only happens on my iPad....iPhone app store is okay.
On both my iPad and iPhone, when I open apps from the apps store icon all I get are blank pages. How can I correct this?
