Issue with fonts on auth window
Hi,
I have issue with font on authenticating window (when admin password should be provided).
I don't know how to solve this problem and where.
Mac Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.4)
Restart and hold the Shift key. This will boot you into Safe Mode. When you're at the desktop, restart again normally.
Hi Kurt,
thanks for very quick answer. This issue has been solved... but partially. When I ran OS X in Safe Mode (like in your response) I see, that issue disapears and everything looks fine. No issue with fonts. But when I leave Save Mode and restart Mac, I have the same issue again. What is wrong?

Back up all data before proceeding.
Launch the Font Book application and validate all fonts. You must select the fonts in order to validate them. See the built-in help and this support article for instructions. If Font Book finds any issues, resolve them.
Start up in safe mode to rebuild the font caches. Restart as usual and test.
Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or earlier, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t start in safe mode. In that case, ask for instructions.
If you still have problems, then from the Font Book menu bar, select
File ▹ Restore Standard Fonts...
You'll be prompted to confirm, and then to enter your administrator login password.
Also note that if you deactivate or remove any built-in fonts, for instance by using a third-party font manager, the system may become unstable.
Guys, many thanks for help.
I restored fonts to default and issue disappears.
Earlier I changed fonts by Thinker and I think that it wasn't good idea.
Could you please suggest how I can can change default Arial fonts in safe way? Any other safe tool?
Thank you
There is no good way to use fonts that conflict with the built-in ones.
It worked in Safe Mode because only a handful of fonts are allowed to be active. Running the Restore Standard Fonts command in Font Book moved all of your third party fonts out of the System and root Library folders, eliminating whatever font conflict was causing the font LastResort to be used on the image you posted.
As Linc noted, there isn't always an easy way to eliminate font conflicts. Particularly with the fonts in the System folder. It can be done, but takes some know-how. I wouldn't recommend jumping in blind.
