I logged into amazon.com on my daughter's ipod touch 5 in safari to search for content that was purchased but I can't figure out how to log out. There is no menu or option that I can find to log out. I don't want to give this back to my daughter till I've logged out. Thanks.

Or close Safari, including removing it from the recently opened app when you double click the Home button.
Then go to Settings>Safari and Clear Cookies, Data and History
Also go to Settings>Safari>Passwords and Autofill and if Names and Passwords is On, tap Saved Password and delete the password.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page, and the Sign Out button is there
