how do I delete photos in my recently deleted folder in iCloud

I am trying to expedite deleting photos from my "recently deleted photos" folder in my iCloud. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this? I asked Apple support and they said to just select the photo you want to expedite deletion on and then select the delete tab but that tab does not exist in the "recently deleted" folder when you select a photo.
