What are the differences between a Macbook air and the Macbook Pro?

I am looking at getting a macbook pro/air for some audio and video editing. because I am not doing this full time and so buying a brand new Apple isn't an option. Because of this I am looking at getting one refurbished from Apple. The the newest models that are available right now are the Air 2015 and Pro 2014. What are the differences between the two? And does anyone have a recommendation on which one to get considering what I am going to be doing?

Big differences are in the size/weight and processor and graphics modules. For video editing you are better off with the highest level processor and graphics module as those are the major performers in the work you will do.
