I can't download iTunes on my windows computer

I Recently had to change my computer to my old one. About ten years old. It already had iTunes on it, but when I tried to import CDs it would crash. So I uninstalled all the apple things in the uninstall programmes bar in control panel, then went to re install it. It then said that there was a failure with the mobile support thing. Then it said that iTunes had successfully installed. But when I tried to open it it said I didn't have sufficient access or privileges.

ccan someone please help me? I can use my iPods without them.
