I forgot my password and it is asking me to type a recovery key after following the instruction how to reset the password, but where I can find it?

Your recovery key is something that you got when you activated 2-step verification. There is no way Apple or anyone else could provide it to you.
As long as you remember your Apple ID's password AND have access to one of your trusted devices, you can sign in and create a new key.
